I have it and ground it all up to be able to mix in with other stuff, problem is, I haven't mixed it enough to know how well it works. A couple other folks here use it fairly regularly, and have said it helps them.

I do have a bit of trouble with the taste, but it's not like any of them taste like sunshine and daisies. I've tried it by itself, didn't get any affect from it, still was in discomfort. I do remember specifically mixing it with one called Casino Cookies and got some relief, enough to sit still, at least. I'm not sure I'd buy it again, yet. Casino Cookies I wouldn't buy again, either.

Was that from CHD? I had to add their CBG flower with their Kief Nugs to feel it. Then I mixed the CBG with other strains from different places, so I’m not sure how it was.

The CBG I had from Plain Jane was really pretty good for me with their Kief and flowers. I guess it does matter where you get it.

CBG is basically a stem cell cannabanoid.
This makes sense. I've read that it's good for pain relief, so I'll have to try more of it. With the little bit I've used, I didn't notice that much.

@Rhianne, I did get mine from CHD. Not completely impressed with them, but they do have some good prices, just more misses than hits.

I looked at a blog about it at Tweedle and it said it was a precursor to both CBD and THC.
I’ve tried it with some CBD flower strains and it’s worked pretty well.

I wasn’t thrilled to pieces with them either, but that sale was very good. I’m glad I cheaped out and didn’t buy a lot of stuff, though. I did end up getting a gram of CBG Kief, so I’ll let you know.

If you want to try another place that has good quality, try Tweedle Farms. I’ve never been disappointed with them. A Mystery four gram pack is $20, and it’s usually strains I’ve enjoyed.

I've done the same. I got an ounce of shake from them, Durban Poison, something like that. Wasn't all that great, so I can use it as a mixer or something. Didn't look great, either. Got another called Sour Punch. It's not bad, not something I'd order again. It'll also get mixed, LOL.

From what I’ve read, people like it for anxiety and inflammation. Maybe light pain relief. But it needs to be mixed with regular CBD flower to really work well, Imho. I use it to kick in the other flower strains I have. PJ’s CBG flower is my favorite so far.

Cannabigerol (CBG) is one of more than 120 identified cannabinoid compounds found in the plant genus Cannabis. Cannabigerol is the decarboxylated form of cannabigerolic acid, the parent molecule from which other cannabinoids are synthesized. Cannabigerol is a minor constituent of cannabis. During plant growth, most of the cannabigerol is converted into other cannabinoids, primarily tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or cannabidiol (CBD), leaving about 1% cannabigerol in the plant.
