What do you use? I have my nerve pain under control but due to my weight loss I have back issues. Im rebuilding my back muscles but every now and again I will pull my back when working out. I have been using store bought CBD creams and they seem to work but I haven't committed to anything that was expensive. Thats the problem. These things can get expensive especially if you use them everyday or multiple times a day.

I have been looking at:

https://changemy.link/7O93BG

Thats a pretty good price for 4 of them.

in my case its saturation of the body with cbd and if needed other wholeistics all depends on how deep the pain is..
arnica montana pellets for muscle soreness taken daily and extra used before a workout or heavy lift day. sometimes i use others but this with CBD has been enough for me.. might look into your link when the time comes

May I ask how you are controlling the nerve pain and what type of nerve pain?

I had a Fasciotomy which is a pretty hardcore surgery on you leg. It messes up all kinds of nerves from the wound down. My scar is about a foot long. Most of my pain now is in my right foot. numbness, shooting pains etc. I still do not have full sensation back in the top of my foot. I can feel when something is on it but i cant tell you if its heavy or feel much pain. Its an odd feeling to have numbness and then have an itch... that you cant scratch? lol.

I use CBD Flower KUSH (make sure its KUSH) w/ Kief. Keif is power or resin crystals that falls from the buds. Keif can from HEMP OR MMJ but for ordering online purposes Keif from HEMP is still great. A wonderful mood lifter and extra punch to help your pain and any swelling too.

Its about $15.00 a gram at most farm online stores but 1 gram will last a person over a month.

How can you use it? You can Dry herb vape it. You can smoke it the old fashion way. Some people buy a butter machine and cook with it. Its pretty universal. Just whenever you cooking with it - make sure there is fat in your food. Cannabanoids need fat to work when eating.

I get what we call wheelchair shoulder pretty regularly. I know its not a CBD product but 15 minutes with a tens unit followed by biofreeze seems to work really well. The tens unit is something that I use pretty regularly for alot of pain. It works well with the nerve pain in my legs and hips as well as my lower back.

I've been using one since 2020. They are also called Estim in some circles. The one I have now has 2 channels so you can work 2 muscle groups or areas. It has reusable electrodes that tie into a small device about the size of a calculator. Firdt you place the electrodes on the muscles you want to work. You then set the pattern of "massage" you want. It will then send electric pulses to the muscles the electrodes are attached to. The electrodes come in different sizes of different muscle groups. I use one large one (about 6x6) for my lower back, neck or shoulder, a medium size for quads and the smaller ones for a more pinpoint isolated therapy.

Generally speaking, its like any therapy: consistency and repetition is key. I try and use it another 3 times a week on the really painful areas now. At first I was using it daily. After about 2-3 weeks I noticed a real difference. I still have nerve pain, mind you. As you know it will never entirely go away, but this has made it much more bearable. When the barometric pressure changes, I'm still reaching for advil- cbd CBD soon replace that. But, the pain is far more manageable with this.

Its so effective that it actually will make my paralyzed muscles contract. After a 15 minute session on my quads i feel like a ran a race.

You can adjust the pattern and intensity of the massage. On most units you can adjust each channel independently. When I was in physical therapy they had one hooked up to an excercise bike that let me ride the bike under my own muscle movement.

Sorry for the wall of text, I get excited about these things.

This is similar to mine, some of the different size pads you can buy in addition to later or what not

I have and use TENS too. Sometimes I use is with heat, ice or alone. It can be difficult adjusting the pad placement and intensity.

It can be at first. I have kind of a regimen set, so now it's as simple as slapping it on. My wife will use it if she has sore legs or back and she'll have issues at times. I figured with her its just the fact that it's not used often and always a different spot. It still gives her relief, it just takes a minute for her to get it the right spot.

I use TENS for many things so it's often different. I was allowed to use it after my knee surgery, but not after my tendon injury. I use it for stress headaches and back pain. Lately the hardest is getting the pads placed properly for my back.

Gotcha, the back pain i get is either in my shoulder plades or right at the the bottom curve. My unit has 2 6x6 pads, so it's hard to miss that spot. Lol
I just place it across the area.

I got a TENS for Christmas, lol. Yes, I am that age, as I roll my eyes. I love this sucker. It came with 2 sets of electrodes, so I can use a set on my knees, while using another set on my back, if I like. The cords are pretty long, the settings are really different and it came with an acupuncture chart for different placement.

I wish I'd gotten one much sooner. I might load up my vaporizer, have a few draws, then kick back with the tense and get to feel very chill.

Do you simply sprinkle some of the Kief on the CBD flower Kush?

yep.. or make moonrocks which is a bud rolled in kief and a little resin oil. Kush works for me but there are a good 30 cbd strains now that are effective. Keif usually is just called Keif. Rarely do they give a strain but if you can find pure kush Keif... all day long! And give me a link!

Thank you Joe. CBD is one those things that the more I research the more my head spins. I will be, at minimum, getting some of the kush to try out. Hopefully I can find in prerolled as I honestly have no clue how to roll one.

my room mate compared some cbd topicals a while ago and found that some of them contain dmso and some dont. dmso is an anti inflammatory as well as helping transport the cbd through your skin better. she found that the products that have it worked way better, so look for that on the label. i looked into it more since then (and a recent post on the other forum that got me thinking about it again) and have seen people online using cbd tincture in combination with a dmso topical right where it hurts. i didnt do any of the comparisons with my roomie, but i have used the dmso/cbd one that she liked the best on my (nearly crippled) hands after work and its pretty amazing.

Go to Plain Jane. They have Eighth packs of joints. There are a bunch of strains to choose from for different prices. The Kush J’s are about $20. They’re good size pre rolls, and it’s a good way to try out the CBD flower.

Don’t overthink it. Just try it, and see how you like it. You wont be sorry, DB.
