This thread is for any one trying to make something new to them. Please give details so if anyone else wants to try it they can.
Also state how well it worked or didn't work for you and what if any you think you might try differently.
I have seen people come up with some pretty unique twists to different procedures that ended up being real winners especially with edibles.
I wanna hear your experiences and I will share mine with you.

A Test run on topical oil made from trim and sticks

I read an article on making a topical out of trim and sticks, I thought I posted it but I can't find it. I thought I would just try this out for my legs, (I have nerve damage and get sharp pains in my lower legs, very sharp pains and also have a lump about the size of a baseball just above my ankle). Yesterday I whipped up a batch. I started out with two ounces of trim with a few sticks and the scrub buds (buds from bottom of the plant), decarbed it for 30 minutes at 245 ( just to test that temp in my oven) let it cool and then tossed it in the blender, and ground it down some,. Next I threw it in my crock pot with a cup and a half of defractionated coconut oil, (I like using this because of the absorbtion rate being so high, that's why they use it with essential oils). I let it cook on low ( my crock pot runs at 175 on low) for 4 hours. Strained it w/cheesecloth and put it in a condiment bottle, yield was almost 3/4 of a bottle :) . It turned out a darker green/black than I usually make but I used a little less oil this time because it was just trim sticks and a few tiny lower buds.

Now lets see how it did so far. Daily I have severe shooting pains in my legs, every day all day long. I started using my potion last night and twice today and Honestly it has made a huge difference in the amount and in the severity of my pain. I am going to test this for several weeks and I will post the results here.
So far this is really working for me!!!!

I decided to make this a dual trial and gave my sis-in-law a small bottle of this mix/batch to try on her psoriasis, she wouldn't try the mix/batch that was made out of all flower. Her psoriasis was insanely itching and she couldn't stop scratching it. Seconds after putting the oil on she said it tingles and stopped all the itching and has been itch free since, so far.

Jimi, was this done with trim and sticks from MMJ or CBD? I was curious about the strain used. I get those kind of pains in my legs and feet, sometimes my hands. I don't have any defractionated, but I do have regular coconut oil.

It was mostly MMJ with some (very little) CBD. Honestly I think it's the terepnes that are working the magic, but I am pretty sure that CBD will work. I was hoping someone would try it out to confirm it's value. You could make a smaller batch using 6 grams of trim and 60 ml of oil.
Defractionated coconut oil has a much higher absorption rate so I would use maybe avocado oil or a good organic olive oil.
I hope you try it.

I have olive oil, but not organic, I don't think. The only other oil I have is grapeseed oil, just not sure how old it is, lol. I have sunflower lecithin, too.

I've got this bookmarked so it'll be easy to find with I do get to make this.

The regular olive oil would work but I just can't recommend anything non organic but again my entire life has become organic and it has made a difference. But I have gotten quite a bit of relief from this potion.

OK it's been two weeks now of everyday use, applying the topical three times a day. So far still getting relief from the sharp pains in my legs, the lump in my left leg is the same. For something destine to the burn barrel this is a real win win. I wish you lived close enough @Huckleberried I would give you a bottle to try.

Also sis-in-law is doing great with it for her psoriasis, she hasn't had to scratch and her legs are healing.

Used up the entire bottle and it still works for me, I already have a new bottle in the makings. This new bottle I am adding a little lavender essential oil and about a quarter ounce of Arnica, a herb that also helps with pain that I forage for every year.

So I have to give this one a thumbs up :).

Of all the cannabis products available today, liquid THC is one of the strongest and easiest to use.

I am going to try this one, sorta like a thinned RSO.

I started with one ounce of flower, put it in my decarb jar and put in a preheated oven @250 degrees for 30 minutes. After it cooled I ground it in my fine grinder and put it in my soaking jar, covered it with everclear. It imediately swool up and so I added I little more everclear. Sealed er up and shook er good then in the cupboard it went. I shook it 3 times a day every day for two weeks, well mine went 15 days. Then I fired up the crock pot to 160 degrees and while it was heating up I strained my mix through 4 layers of cheese cloth into my cooking jar. This yeilded about four ounces of liquid. Soon as temp was up to 160 I put the jar in and left the lid half off so the alcohol could escape. I ran it for the 30 minutes it called for and gave it a try :( way to much alcohol for me so I cooked it some more, and more, and more till it cooked down to one ounce of liquid and gave this a try.:):):) Oh yeah much better but still a sharp alcohol bite. The up side of that much alcohol is it seems to effect you faster than RSO. (I use a lot of RSO)
The effect. This is a close tie with RSO, and made to this recipe I thought would be a fast way to calculate doseage, 1 ml. would be close to the same as one gram of THC. The effect was very nice. As we all know, (those who do edibles) edibles have a far different effect than smoking or vaping. I would give this a five star rating🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠 and WILL make this one again soon.

I am trying a new approach to my battle with my cancer. I have started using heavy doses of RSO 24/7, 4 double doses a day, each dose has an eight hour effect so I have covered the day and night. I have been trying different infusions mixed in my RSO also, different herbs. Well it's been almost 2 months and two lumps (tumors) I have on my neck have shrunk, one was the size of a golf ball and now is the size of a pea, the other was the size of a lemon, yeah, it was huge, now is the size of a marble. I am thrilled. These have plagued me for the last 5 years and finally I have found something to give me some relief. I am just hoping they stay shrunk or go away completely, still way to early to tell but the relief is great. I hope it is doing the same in all my tumors.
