Oops, guess I was supposed to leave an intro ....
I've been vaping since roughly the end of 2013. I didn't get off cigarettes until 2014.
I started vaping more to get off cigarettes because of a series of surgeries, which would result in months of being bed ridden. I didn't want to smoke in that situation; but, figured vaping would be a bridge. That bridge led me to a hobby I found more happiness with.
Those surgeries, were a result of a near fatal accident in 2010 which left me a t12/L1 complete paraplefic. As a result of those injuries I have debilitating chronic nerve pain, insomnia, and a host of other issues. For a while I was managing those issues with meds; however, in 2016 insurance stopped paying for those medications. I have since started various forms of holistic approaches to pain management. I've been curious about CBD since its inception, and have known several people with similar injuries to mine who have good luck with it. Unfortunately up until now I have not felt knowledgeable enough to dio my own foot in the waters. Thanks to this forum, and the friends I've made on VU, I am finally starting my CBD journey. The group of people I've met through VU have become like family to me. I'm excited to learn more about CBD from them and you all through this new project.

Thanks for sharing your story and sorry for all that you have been thru- I am excited to find out more about CBD before I take that leap.
