Good article. I remember reading about cherries before, but had no idea the effects could last so long.

Now about broccoli. "Sulforaphane" sounds like a fancy word for farts.

The problem is that most salmon is really high in mercury lately.

The problem is that most salmon is really high in mercury lately.
I serving a week is considered safe. The team problem comes in when you're like I was; and eating seafood 6 days out of 7. You have to be careful not to become a "mad hatter"

I could eat salmon everyday too! It’s my favorite fish. Apparently the smaller fish like herring or whatever have less mercury since they’re not eating smaller fish.

I was bummed when I read an article about mercury in fish at Dr. Axe’s site. He has a list of “safer” fish, but I’ve gone off fish for now. I hate when food isn’t safe to eat. :cry:

I was never a huge fan of salmon, unless raw or cedar grilled. I used to eat mostly freshly fight trout, redfish, tuna, crab and shrimp.
