I guess I didn't give much of an introduction did I?

Well, most of you know me from VU. Staring vaping in 2013. Had a fusion done in 2009 for C5/C6 Have a few bad discs ( still just bulging last they checked about 2 years ago now)I get steroid injections about every 6 weeks alternating between neck and lower back. But as of about a month or so ago some other things started happening with me. All my joints and muscles have pain and they get very cramped up and stiff. Mornings are the worst after getting out of bed. I have no grip left hardly and things just slip right out of my hands. Can't even say how many plates and glasses I have dropped recently. I have leaned to place one hand on the bottom of whatever I am carrying. Vison has gotten pretty blurry and messed up ( but only at times) not 24/7 Noticed that when I try to type I am constantly switching letters around, more than usual. This isn't just typical bad spelling on my part. it's more than it should be. I have to go back and correct many words. So, something is up. They are sending me to a neurologist as they suspect it could be MS. ( terrifying to me ) I mean I am the only one that is caring for hubby with his issues. I have to be able to continue. And I will, no matter what.

They have me on 7.5 mg of oxycodone 3x's a day but it's not cutting it. So I have 2 hopes for the hemp flower if I can get my pain doc on board. One to help with the pain and 2 to get away from the oxy

I am a friend of Bill W and have been clean and sober for about 20 years now. So I know all to well, where this can lead and I can't have that. I just can't and the thought scares me. I know with help from people here and determination, I can do this. with that along with some extra ibuprofen. I just pray my doc will be on board with the hemp flower. Sometimes I feel they want to keep me in a small amount of pain just so I keep paying them to have injections. Problem is , they no longer help all that much. Bah...........doctors

So that's it for me

Hello Deb. Sorry to hear about your issues. I'm a friend of Bill's also and understand your concern. Prayers for you.

My brother was "diagnosed" with MS. Actually they're not really able to diagnose it; it's more a process of elimination until that's all that's left. There are options for arresting the disease. Hope you don't have to go there but I know you're looking for a reason for what's happening to you. I hope you find it soon.

When I quit drinking almost 5 years ago I couldn't sleep because of pain. Went to an ortho and was told I had end stage arthritis in both knees and shoulders; bone on bone and spurs in all of them. He said flip a coin as to which one to replace first. Did all 4 in about 14 months and am very fortunate I got through that without oxy or heavier. And I'm lucky my spinal fusion (L1-L6 in 1968) has held.

Hope you find relief. Good to see you here.

Here
First, I have to get all preachy. Mrs. Deb, if the ones you're breaking in half are an extended release, never do that again, because I love you. That can yield fatal consequences, so please don't break those. I know you hurt, and I hate this for you. Now I'll get off the pharmacy soapbox.

I really hate that you have to go through this, from the physical standpoint and the mental drain this must have. I know there isn't much I can do sitting here, half a country away, but I'm always happy to at least listen. Feels like not much from here. I'm really hoping, too, that your Dr. will get on board with this. Wanting answers and also being fearful of them, is a tough spot. I don't know how I'd react, so you're stronger than you know.

Love you @Huckleberried

I don't think these are timed released. Things just sort of suck right now. But it's Monday so only 2 more days and then I will know if I can continue "full steam ahead" Heck, I already ordered the Titan II. I am going to use this no matter what. If anything I can always stop a week before my next appt with the pain clinic. If I pop positive and they discharge me then so be it. It's not in my hands anymore, I turned it over. Of course I have to KEEP doing that as I keeping taking it back!! :ROFLMAO:

Seriously, I love you dearly and thank you.

Hi Debinnv, Nice to meet you, I've seen you around VU but we have never talked. I am a huge believer in the benefits of the Sacred Plant and also hope that you can get your doctor to get on board with you using this. I have spurts of severe pain from my cancer and MMJ and CBD have been nothing but a blessing for me, granted it effects everyone differently but it sure works great for me.

@Debinnv does NV had medical or any legal MJ? I know that MD is one of the ailments that qualifies for medical mj.
I think Nevada is one of the states that Medical MJ is legal But I can not handle high doses of THC. When I was younger I tried MJ 3 times and became deathly ill. It was on 3 separate occasions so not the same stuff. I mean it paralysed me to the point I could lay there but do nothing and then I threw up violently for hours. After that I never tried it again. That is why I was so very leery of trying the cbd flower but after a few times I was okay. Once it made me feel a little ill but nothing I couldn't handle and it went away fairly quickly.

Quite interesting. I mistakenly typed MD when I meant MS. I'm surprised MS isn't on the list of Nevada approved ailments. I know I've seen it listed for other states and was one of the reasons in proposed legislation here in Texas that's never passed.
