I'm planning to start growing my first marijuana plants. I red a lot online but cannot make up my mind. should I grow on the ground or grow in a pot? thats the dilemma

every advice is welcome!

ps. living in mediterranean area, so cold shouldnt be a problem and planning to start soon.
