Does anyone have a good supplier for CBD for dogs and any information about if it could help for skin allergies? My dachshund has been having chronic skin problems with a lot of yeast for about a year. We have spent at least a thousand dollars in the last year on different meds and shampoos from the vet without any success. Again this Monday we paid over $200 for 4 different meds for my sweet little baby. I do not have much hope that these meds will work any better than anything else we have tried. I am considering CBD but am at a loss as where to get something for him. I want something from a reputable company, as anyone with a loved fur baby would be cautious with anything you give them.

I am not much of a believer in pharmaceutical drugs. i think you are on the right track using CBD. You might try making a CBD infused oil as a topical for you furry family member, they are real easy to make. I use them all the time on my body.

I did a quick google search on "CBD for pet skin allergies" and came up with some interesting results.
It seem to help from what I read on the first few links.

The Forum's main site has a wide variety of pet CBD products:

I'm so glad I found this thread. Rosie is now older and having joint problems. We just took her to the vet for what turned out to be a skin tag on her head (I thought it could have been cancerous). The vet recommended UC-II. It's a collagen type capsule. It's primarily meant for humans and has nothing but rave reviews on what it has done for people. Well, I ordered it on Amazon - 120 pills for $23.00. I looked it up for dogs and it's going for more than double that. Chuck and I will be taking it along with Rosie.

Anyway, I was wondering about CBD for pets. Thanks for the question OP and thanks for Googling, 5150.
