Around Jan 10th was when it started for me. I had to fly out to California in 3 days. I rarely get common sicknesses. I can count on a single hand how many times I had the flu. No I don't take flu shots.

This was something I never experienced before. Tons of post nasal drip and lots of coughing. At the time I thought it was some strange allergy I was getting. So off the California I go. I have flown 100's of time. I know ear pressure very well. This was something different. It was so bad when we were landing my Jaw was in on fire.

When I finally landed I was in a daze. Almost a dream like state? I ate 2 meals in 4 days because I couldn't taste or smell anything. It could have been a sneaker or a snickers - I'd have no idea.

In the middle of the trip I was inside sitting just talking and suddenly my forehead starting sweating. I thought nothing of it even though it was 70 degrees. Looking back now I think it could have been a fever breaking. I would have no reason to take my temp at the time to know if I had one, but anyone who knows me will tell you I barely sweat even in the hottest conditions (which I know isn't a good thing).

Edibles made it so much more worse too, which sucked because I need it for pain.

So my wife got sick, so did my son. A few of my friend's were badly sick. My mother (72) got it and was coughing for about 2 weeks.

As soon as this Anti-body test is available im going to take one. Vaporjoe patient zero! 😷😷

I believe we had here too back in Jan. My whole house came down with a strange viral type cold that nothing seemed to help. Fortunately we all got over it.

I'm not sure wth I have but it's been hanging for 2 weeks now. I do cough but it's only once in a while and there is no fever. But man I feel like garbage. I still think it's some sort of sinus/head cold thing but who knows. Either way, it's not getting worse but it sure seems to be taking it's sweet arse time leaving. Glad to hear you all are okay now though.

My boss was really sick, I mean really sick, about a month ago. He was weak, felt terrible, looked terrible, dropped a lot of weight and had a fever for 3 weeks. He ended up in the hospital for about a week. They ran test after test, and couldn't tell him what was wrong, they only knew it was viral. We had all heard about the virus in China, but none of it clicked til recently, of course. I asked him if he thought he had had it. He's not convinced he did, but I really don't know what else it could have been. We were seriously concerned for him.

He had spinal cancer as a teenager. My hope was that something more wasn't going on, it was pretty scary. I really do think it's possible he had Corona. He's fine now, thankfully.

I know a lot of people down here that had some strange drug resistant flu like illness that started going around back in January .
I remember, Half the old ladies at bingo were out for two weeks.

Some people were sick for an entire month.

People have been talking about the same thing here in Florida about the virus possibly already being here some time since Jan 2020

Chuck and me had it in January, too. Both with completely different symptoms from each other. It was the strangest "bug" we had every experienced. It began around January 13th and after a week of feeling fine afterward it came back. He got sick first then 8 days later I got it. AND, I bought masks to ward off his bug since I get extreme bronchitis and pneumonia. We had 2 relapses. We were both done with it toward the end of February. Very strange illness and completely different symptoms. We're sure it was COVID although we haven't been checked for antibodies. Hard to find a testing site in the metro area for some reason.

We strongly believe we had it then. Really, we've never had a bug that acted the way each of us felt. We haven't had any recurring illnesses since then.
