I’m 35F and very fit. I have been doing Crossfit at least 4 days a week for the last 7 years. I’m also a lifelong vegetarian and make sure to get adequate protein, I eat very clean and take multiple vitamins.
For some reason, in the last month or so, I would get a dull achy feeling in my chest when/after smoking that would persist for over a day. It’s hard to tell if it’s a lung, heart or even musculoskeletal in nature. I just recently had a normal physical, including normal labs. I’ve been going on 2-3 mile runs at a fast rate and no cardiac or breathing issues when I do that. I can even work out while I feel the dullness and it doesn’t get worse or limit me in anyway, its just a feeling.
Although the pain was constant, it would subside during periods of not smoking. I now have not smoked at all for a week and the pain has completely disappeared.
I can’t see a doctor about this because of covid, and I also don’t know that I want to tell my physician about the effects from marijuana use!
Anyone else experience this? What can it be?
I’m fine not smoking now anyway, I don’t want to make my lungs vulnerable during this time but just curious..
TLDR: I am healthy and active but experience a dull feeling in my chest during periods if marijuana use. Is this common?
