Thought I'd make a thread for concentrates.

Got into them because flower was too harsh on my throat after all these years, lol. When setup right they provide a very smooth tasty hit with all the desired effects. The smell isn't pungent either which comes in very handy for someone like me that treats chronic pain all day, wherever I am lol.

Here's a few pics of the setup I just puffed. It's a rebel dna75c 21700 with a dazz vape Melter wax atty and loaded with some 707 Headband budder.

sh*t lighting and camera but this is a mag mile sugar I'm hitting before leaving for work. Nice lemon/pine/skunk taste.

yeah its a sativa heavy strain with a pretty cerebral buzz. nice for noodling on the guitar

Very nice! The light coloring gave it away.

About to go hit some Bio Jesus sugar after a long day at work.

Bio Jesus. Has some peppery sativa in the flavor but the buzz is more of a chill indica . Not as good as the Headband for pain relief tho.

Nice to see your Rebel being used for that! I haven’t tried concentrates yet, but it seems like it would be stronger in effects than just flower. Thanks!

Yeah it just depends on the strain's lineage and when the trichomes were harvested from the plant.

It's getting more difficult to distinguish the live resins because more indica strains are being harvested early like what growers do for sativas and haze's.

I still look for darker colored concentrates for pain/inflammation relief. Sometimes RaP oils.

Yeah it just depends on the strain's lineage and when the trichomes were harvested from the plant.

It's getting more difficult to distinguish the live resins because more indica strains are being harvested early like what growers do for sativas and haze's.

Are they worth it to try from CBD flower? I’ve seen wax and shatter for sale. Plus kief related stuff like moonrocks, which sounds pretty good.

I know my state is trying for recreational or whatever, but it will be a while until we have legal dispensaries where anyone can go. So, for now I’m just smoking CBD flower.

The RSO oils are especially helpful for pain and inflammation. Can be taken orally or vaped and more strains are coming out with a 1:1 balance between THC:CBD. The high amounts of CBD keeps the THC buzz from soaring too high, lol.

Hopefully your state will catch on soon. It's good that you have cbd flower available to you. Haven't tried any myself, and good for pain/inflammation? Closest I've had was called Sweet Pea but that was still 2% THC.

its pretty much the same effect, just with a smaller dose size. a piece of shatter the size of a grain of rice represents all the cannabinoids from a gram or two of flower, and you can vape it in one breath.

This means getting something to vape dab or whatever you call it, I guess.

I was going to ask you, I recently saw some concentrate syringes. They were 1ml, which sounds teeny. Do you just add it to juice?

Edit: I never really did canna concentrates except resin/hash, so I only know what I’ve tried from hemp like kief.

For pain and inflammation, Sour Tsunami might be good for you. Huck has chronic nerve pain, and it’s helped her.

I have more anxiety issues since I’ve been off alprazolam (x’s) for almost two years now. So the CBD flower helped with that, and with the insomnia that came with it.
These symptoms were way worse before I tried the hemp flower, though.

NY is a very uncool place! The requirements for medical cannabis are so strict, I’m not sure I could finagle a script!

those syringes are usually a distillate, which is fully activated and ready to eat. its sold like that because its easy to get the exact amount/dose you want every time (compared to trying to scoop some out of a jar with a utensil of some kind). you can dab that stuff too.

Hmm, 1ml for $40 seems a lot! How little do you need? But I think Apical is having a big sale, so it would be almost half, if I can use the code.

yeah the concentrates are expensive. it takes a lot of flower to get a little concentrate, and the equipment and knowledge involved is all very expensive too. im not sure how much you would need for a 'dose'. i would guess that 1ml is about 4 or 5 mild/medium doses but i could be way off on that. most of the people i deal with are on the higher end of the dosage range so my perspective is a little off lol...

i have eaten a 1ml capsule of activated honey oil before and it definitely had an effect. i did a really long shift of light work that day/night...and thats all i remember have had daily edibles in my routine before, but it was mainly because i was making them for someone else. when she moved away i stopped making them. they dont really benefit me because im not in any real pain most of the time, so for me they are just a fun change of pace.

its hard to say for any individual. i do know of people doing that, but i havnt had a chance to talk to them in depth about how its going. best choice is to try to get an oz of trim or small buds for cheap and make a batch of butter or oil and try it out.

yeah its better not to in places like that. if the cbd flower is working, then stick with it and dont push your luck lol.
