I'm far from a regular smoker (once every 6 months-1 year). Last night, I took a 25mg gummy for the first time in well over a year. The main reason I don't smoke that often is because it never fails to make me feel paranoid, but I was with friends so I decided it was ok.
Fast forward a little bit, and I wake up feeling absolutely exhausted. All day I felt tired, dizzy, and frazzled. This usually happens the day after I smoke because my tolerance is low as hell, but today it felt even more potent. After taking my prescribed anti-depressant (Prozac for those wondering), I felt that same paranoia I get when I smoke and began worrying if it was dangerous to mix the two.
So, is it dangerous to use cannabis while on an antidepressant? The friend I was with is on a similar antidepressant (Lexipro) and hasn't had the same problem.
