I have been using caffeine for many years. It has proven to be one of the very few effective treatment/preventative for severe migraines. It doesn't cure, but certainly often helps decrease the severity. I refer to those migraines that cause one to seek a quiet, dark place, curl in a fetal ball, and silently scream...

I get those sometimes from having a deviated septum. That is the worst pain I’ve ever had. Since I’m not taking pain meds anymore, the CBD flower helps a lot. So does White Willow bark sometimes. I’m trying not to take my hub’s naproxen when I get these migraines, but they manage to kick my butt most times.

Caffeine helps, but really CBD and caffeine are good. Smoke a bowl of flower and have a strong cup of Joe. ️ And I lay down in a dark room in a ball, on my side, and wait for it to ease up. :yikes:
