Any help for arthritis in index finger knuckles?

Hello,

I've got some arthritis in the middle knuckle of both index fingers and some trigger finger sometimes. I'm tired of cortisone injections in the knuckles. Any suggestions for creams or balms to help with this?

I have arthritis in my right hand. Some days my ring finger gets "locked" during the night. I usually have to apply heat and massage to loosen it up. I'm still trying to find something more long term.

That looks interesting. What's she using it for? Topical issue, bone, muscle, nerve?

So much of this stuff is in the "snake oil" category, cures everything. Not saying this is, but when it is said to solve so many problems it starts to stretch credibility.

i had gout for years and finally beat it. it left a lot of arthritis in my feet. I can’t walk on a beach bear foot because of all those tiny bones that were getting calcium deposits. Im extremely interested in hearing a good way to combat this.

She only said she uses it on her back for pain and that it really helped her. I plan to get it soon, myself. I thought i had included it in my recent order, but apparently removed it, like a doof. If you're like me, though, chronic pain and snake oil kind of go hand in hand, lol. I've tried all kinds of things. Considering that dry herb vaping is helping me, I figure maybe a topical will, too. Sure can't hurt.

I make an infusion of flower with defractionated Coconut oil to rub on my arthritis and it works great

Interested in this a lot. I get it in my hands so bad lately that I can't make a fist sometimes or hold my knife well. It's already made me come close to whacking a finger.

I'll update this thread once I've tried it for awhile. I already take 15mg of Meloxicam daily; been on that since I had joint replacements due to end stage OA, both shoulders, both knees, starting Oct 2016 thru Mar 2018. I assume it helps but would like more help. I can't make a fist with the index fingers anymore and it affects daily life. Not the pain so much as the ineffectiveness of my grip. But I'm the first to realize I don't have it that bad, so don't meant to sound like I'm complaining.

Have been using the Apical salve on neck and lower back muscles.Have a lot of stiffness and spasms from arthritis. It does seem to calm the spasms. I am going to make my own soon. For me a lot of the stiffness in hands has eased from from cbd saturation and it's anti-inflammatory properties.

Interesting- The article does say topicals may avoid enzymes, and refers to involvement of healthcare team. Perhaps your provider can give you some more insight.

Great!! I got a magical butter machine I will start using later this week. Am starting with butter and infused coconut oil.
Really looking forward to seeing some good recipies-esp. body product/topicals etc. Your to do's so far have been great-nice complete accurate recipies-unlike those I have been finding.

I am glad you like them and hope the articles help you. I make Canna Caps several times a month but only 50 or so at a time, they are so easy to make and handy.
