To be fair the Creating Better Days CBD oil sublingual supplement is 101.7mg instead of 100mg.
That's a pass in my book. :)

I make stuff with flower so i'm always guessing:LOL:

of the three fails, the first two dont shock me so much. they have such a small amount in the first place, i would imagine that a fail in a test like this could be a combination of 1% margin of error in either side (making the product or testing it) and some bad luck...but that last one is supposed to be 1000mg and came out at 0mg 😲 did someone mix up the samples at the lab? lol thats shameful.

with flower (and the extracts made from it) there can be some variation in %s, so that is to be expected from products using that as a base. testing is expensive (it was around $150 per sample for me a couple years ago) so its possible that a big company with lots of products and batches being made doesnt test (or doesnt have to test, it would be interesting to see the actual regulations they have to follow) every single thing. it actually makes sense because they have to print so much packaging and stuff that they prolly just get the first batch tested and then print the packages with that info forever (or until they re-test it if they have to do it semi-regularly).

the problem with that argument is that most of these cbd products are made with isolate, which is 99% pure every time and should be foolproof to measure correctly :(

That’s what I thought. Flower is the most reliable way to get CBD. Thanks for this forum, Joe!
Yeah there is no standard at the moment really when it comes to anything in liquid form.

Although this article was written before Trump made CBD legal, it is still very much relevant even today:

But I disagree with others' notions of CBD flower being the most reliable way to get CBD. In fact I don't believe even the most reliable CBD products out there are necessarily always the most reliable way to get the therapeutical effects of CBD anyway in the first place. Far from it, exactly because it is so ridiculously overhyped in so many ways that will make your head spin a zillion times faster than THC ever can make it.

Not only is flower the most reliable way to get CBD it is the only way to get CBD outside of a lab that synthesizes it.
Flower is where the CBD in every product on the market came from to begin with.

If you know how to extract the CBD from the flower yourself then you know you are getting CBD.

Some con artist putting "1000mg CBD" on a label doesn't really mean much since there is no one testing to see if it's true.

I was talking about the average consumer. Even if you consume hemp flower by heating it in a vaporizer, there are so many other substances besides CBD (mostly terpenes) going into your lungs it qualifies as the least reliable way to consume CBD, second to smoking it.
