I have and use TENS too. Sometimes I use is with heat, ice or alone. It can be difficult adjusting the pad placement and intensity.

I have arthritis in my right hand. Some days my ring finger gets "locked" during the night. I usually have to apply heat and massage to loosen it up. I'm still trying to find something more long term.
